Facial Enhancement Acupuncture & Microneedling are two beautification techniques used to direct proper flow of Qi and blood to the face with the goals of: enhancing the complexion, stimulating the muscles of expression and releasing tension in the neck and shoulders. Our approach toward beauty is the same approach we take in our general practice — to treat the whole person, individually, and to boost health and vitality. We have researched and developed a protocol that we believe improves skin texture and resilience, while also setting realistic expectations for what is possible from person to person.

A Chinese Language and Literature major in college, and graduate of the postgraduate program through Johns Hopkins at the Hopkins Nanjing Center, I’ve been traveling to China and speaking Chinese since 1989. After a stint in the Peruvian Amazon, I put my interest in ethnobotany and plant medicines together with my background in Chinese language and culture and decided to study Chinese medicine. After graduating from The Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine in 2004, I spent three years in China from 2005 to 2008. Originally planning to spend just a year reacquainting myself with the language and the country, I stayed for three investigating the practice of Chinese herbal medicine in China as well as the particular food culture of Sichuan. I met my teachers Dr. Huang Huang of Nanjing and Dr. Jin Zhao of Chengdu - they continue to serve as my teachers and to inform my practice of Chinese herbal medicine. Although acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine are generally practiced as separate specialities in China, there is enormous benefit to combining them or in using one or the other where appropriate. Used together, they offer a very complete system of physical and internal medicine.

Daniel Weinberg, MAcEAM, LAc.

Board certified in Acupuncture (NCCAOM Diplomate in Acupuncture), Daniel received his Masters in Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine from the Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine in 2021; however, his introduction to Chinese Medicine began in New York City initially as a patient and then as a student at Tri-State College of Acupuncture from 2017-2018. He became a NADA (National Acupuncture Detox Association) Certified AcuDetox Specialist in 2021, after completing training with Yoji Kobayashi at Evergreen Treatment Services in Seattle, Wa. In June of 2022, he completed a hands-on Fundamentals of Kiiko Matsumoto workshop with Grace Rollins in Doylestown, PA.

Daniel’s devotion to Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal medicine is centered on the elegant methods, techniques, and view that Chinese Medicine places on the body. For Daniel, an emphasis on the inextricable relationship between humankind and the natural environment solidifies his skillset and serves as a pathway toward both science and art. As a practitioner, Daniel considers it a privilege to guide and empower his patients to feel safe in their bodies and strive for meaningful balance.

As a current resident in the Hudson Valley, Daniel enjoys forest bathing, discovering compelling documentaries and test cooking new kitchen recipes at home (ask me about miso for breakfast and every day congee!)
